Good morning all!
I am so excited to finally get a chance to share this with yall! We have three families we will be hearing from. I have been following these families from the beginning of their fostering journey, and cannot wait to share their stories!
I'm a mother. This is still something that catches me off-guard, in a good way. When I look at her, I feel things I never knew I could feel.
Ever notice how quick people are to give their opinion? Sometimes it's helpful, sometimes it's wanted. Other times it's useless, unwanted, and possibly harmful. Putting your personal opinion aside, how do you know if their advice is personal or Godly?
Another guest post! I am so excited for today's guest writer! She is an adoption social worker and is being Jesus to those she works with! Let's dive in!
I am so excited for today's guest writer! She has so much to share, and you can see God's work throughout her whole story!
"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." Remember that from childhood? It was what you'd say when someone called you a "meanie," "stinky," or said they didn't want to play with you. But didn't their words still hurt?
I've never been one with a huge group of friends. Probably because I have what some would refer to as "RBF," or to put it nicely "an unapproachable appearance."
National Family Day is September 26th! And it will be a special day for us. We are officially a family of three now!
In a time where social media is all the rage, and there is "no such thing as oversharing," parents usually have no problem posting pictures of their kiddos. Don't get me wrong! I love keeping up with former students through their parents social media accounts, or staying in touch with family I don't see regularly. But where do we draw the line on what we share?
One year already?! Where has the time gone? I guess time does fly when you're having fun. And I wouldn't want to take this ride with anyone else.
Jesus lover, wife, momma, teacher, and hopeful writer.
